Our group is called We Run Liberation, WRL Group for short. We are not affiliated with the development of DCS Liberation and currently run DCS Retribution exclusively. They develop a fork from the Liberation builds. They work closely with our group and we're very thankful for their work. We have released numerous exciting campaigns to support their effort. It is as close to a Falcon BMS campaign in DCS world.

DCS missions can be fun for solo players but often the AI can frustrate the experience. Conducting sorties with real people is the way to go. We try to keep the group as casual as possible. There are plenty of hardcore groups out there who offer the "as real as it gets" experience. Many of our members come from these style groups to relax and enjoy a casual Retribution sortie.

Our Approach

At the event start time we quickly plan flights based on what you want to fly. We have a web based registration form that you fill out at event start time. You can fly different aircraft and mission types throughout the night.

We typically fly 2-3 sorties per night and they can be 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes long. We want to experience as many sorties as possible and progress the campaign as much as possible. Tacview files are available from the server to debrief further on your own.

We welcome new pilots and new retribution users. We keep a relaxed atmosphere perfect for those who have little online or group experience. You do not have to worry about serious communications, formation flying, or having extensive knowledge of your aircraft. Each sortie you'll learn more about retribution and your chosen airframe. It is recommended to take notes and learn from your mistakes. DCS is a simulator and requires a lot of practice. We also try to pair you with an experienced member for your first time. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the flight.

Events are scheduled any day of the week. We do not have a set schedule. Our events are USA time zone based and in the evening. A common event time would be 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Central Standard Time.

The best part about our events is that you can fly at any point during the event time. If you can't show up until 8:00 PM that is fine. If you have to leave by 9:00 PM that is fine. Our events are drop in and drop out as needed. Since we run numerous sorties there is always a chance for you to snag at least one during the event time. No time commitment is expected.

Our web based registration form is dynamic. We can enable or disable mission types on as we need them. If you see it in the list, it is available.
